1. The response to the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show featuring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira was overwhelmingly positive except for people who were offended by their ass shaking.
However, the one person who wasn’t completely excited about the halftime show before it even happened is J.Lo.
In an upcoming Netflix documentary, half time(from June 14) About her career, the halftime show Super Bowl LIV is widely covered and reveals that Lopez had many problems with the NFL during the show.
For starters, Lopez was frustrated that she couldn’t get the whole party to herself.
“This is the worst idea in the world for two people to do the Super Bowl,” Lopez told the music director. “It was the worst idea in the world.”
A large part of Lopez’s frustrations was the lack of time that came with having to do the show with another artist.
“We have six minutes. We have 30 seconds of song, and if we take one minute, that’s it, we have five left.” “But, there must be some songs to sing, though. We should have our singing moments. It will not be a theatrical dance. We have to sing our message.”
Lopez’s director, Benny Medina, expressed disappointment in the documentary where his client had to share the spotlight with another artist.
“You usually have one major title in the Super Bowl,” Medina said. “This headline is building a show, and if they choose to have other guests, that’s their choice. It was an insult to say you needed two Latinas to do the job that one artist has historically done.”
“If it was a double title, they should have given us 20 minutes,” Lopez said in the documentary. “That’s what they should have done.”
The singer/actress/dancer also fought with the NFL during a portion of the halftime show that featured children in cages. Once the NFL got wind of it the night before the Super Bowl, they asked Lopez to remove the cages.
“We left rehearsal and I noticed everyone was scared, but I don’t know why,” Lopez says. “I got a call from Benny, and he was saying, ‘They want to pull the cages. That night, the top officials in the NFL saw it for the first time, and they were saying, ‘Hey, you can’t do that.'”
In a rare loss for the NFL, Lopez refused to pull the cages and offered them the way she wanted them to – except that she did it solo.

Is LeBron getting a podcast?
After the conversation with Curtis, Sal Licata from WFAN/SNY in New York joined me for the weekly “Traina Ideas” section. This week, we’re doing an in-depth look at Kevin Durant’s response to Sal on Twitter and saying that sports talk show radio “makes him nauseous.”
You can listen to the podcast below or download it to Apple, Spotify, and Google.
3. Draymond Green has made it clear, after a tough game against the Celtics last night, that he will start podcasting after matches no matter what. I know the fans want and I think after the game the players go back to their hotel rooms, put on their pajamas, drink a glass of milk and watch some Netflix before bed. Newsflash: They don’t. Some players play video games all night, some players go to a restaurant, some players enjoy the gentlemen’s club, etc., etc.
So stop worrying about Green doing a post-match podcast. Not a problem.
4. Jimmy Kimmel LiveGuillermo’s Guillermo made his annual go-to for the media day of the NBA Finals, and he’s been as good as ever.
5. Pat McAfee got a call from an 8-year-old on his show on Wednesday, and no one could have predicted how the conversation would turn out.
6. After 13 consecutive losses, every Angels racket used Nickelback as their music walk last night in hopes of changing their mojo.
The Angels lost to the Red Sox 1-0, with a 14-game losing streak.
